Economy Paving
A Significant Office Addition
After scanning the existing site, several model iterations were created to answer design questions and iron out inconsistencies between planning and reality.
Economy Paving | George Breuhaus
Summer 2026
Our team was contracted by Economy Paving in Cortland, NY to provide a site scan along paired with models of multiple designs for their new office addition. These models as seen in the context of the existing structure and property provided the client with the confidence they needed to make important design decisions.
As design alterations were made, we were able to provide updated models and an interactive walkthrough of their new addition while taking into account detailed feedback from both the client and architect. Site inconsistencies were immediately spotted with the model in place and were able to be addressed on the spot.
Elevations of the existing building were provided using custom orthographic views of the Gaussian Splat along with an ultra-high detail top-down view of the entire site.

Scans of 27 artifacts from Tioga County’s history were scanned in ultra-high detail and can now be viewed by anyone with a phone or computer!
Tioga Historical Society
June 2026
The Tioga County Historical Society brought us in to scan a portion of its remarkable collection of artifacts tied to the history of Owego, NY. We produced ultra-high-resolution 3D scans of twenty-seven key pieces that had been locked away in the archive and brought them to an online audience, helping the Society raise funds for its museum’s new addition.
These delicate items demanded the utmost care. Many had been severely damaged in the 2011 flood that swept through much of the Susquehanna River valley in Tioga County. Hundreds of other irreplaceable artifacts were lost to the same flood, taking a piece of the region’s history with them.
By scanning these pieces, Zerilli-Behrens 3D captured their condition at a point in time and preserved them for generations to come. The scans are available to the public free of charge for education and enjoyment. Please consider donating to the Tioga County Historical Society to help preserve local history in Tioga County.

Dandora Falls
A Piece of Kenya
Drone footage was captured on site and used to make an interactive Gaussian Splat of the world-famous waterfall. Pollution of the falls is clearly visible, sitting in stark contrast to its natural beauty.
Cornell CALS
Summer 2026
Working with Kate Chesebrough, a landscape design lecturer at Cornell CALS, we created an immersive view into Dandora, a remarkable district of Nairobi. The neighborhood takes its name from the landfill at its center, and the waterfall featured here is heavily polluted with trash, sewage, and toxic runoff from nearby industry.
Kate traveled to Nairobi to visit the site and meet with local activist groups working to restore the waterfall to its natural condition: planting trees, collecting waste, and bringing residents into beautification initiatives. We transformed her aerial photos and video into this immersive 3D environment, with dynamic relighting, water simulation, accurate measurement, and text annotations that tell the story more effectively.
This interactive experience conveys the scale of the challenges facing Dandora without the expense of traveling there, bringing much-needed attention and funding to the organizations working to reshape the district for the next generation.

Ithaca YMCA Pool Addition
A New Community Pool
The Ithaca, NY YMCA seeks to raise funding for an addition to their popular pool area. The building and surrounding area were scanned with LiDAR and drone footage before the addition was modeled and incorporated into the existing site.

April 2026
The Ithaca, New York YMCA received a state grant to expand its aquatic center with a new lap pool, hot tub area, and children’s splash pad. The grant covered only three quarters of the project’s cost, so the YMCA needed a Tompkins County donation campaign to raise the remaining capital and make the project a reality. That is where we came in.
We produced a full package of interactive media for the YMCA that supported every stage of planning and campaigning. First, we scanned the existing building and produced a 3D model to help the architect and builder understand current site conditions.
Once the 2D CAD drawings for the addition were complete, we turned them into a detailed 3D model that could be explored in the same context as the scan of the original building, allowing for better design validation. Walking through the model in real time in our interactive viewer helped the YMCA team identify several key safety issues in the design and make confident material decisions, greatly shortening communication cycles with the builder, subcontractors, and architect.
Finally, we produced print-ready still renders of the addition and a 3D animated video for the campaign, all linking back to an interactive tour of the future addition for the community to explore. This connected set of media has driven greater engagement with the capital campaign and raised recognition of the YMCA’s mission to serve Tompkins County.
